Course 2 Take 2

Course 2 is a great course for those who like to use a different technique in each layout. There are so many great techniques in Course 2 that we are offering this course again as "Take 2!"

Course 2, Take 2 is for anyone who has finished the first 80 lessons in the original Course 2. In this class, you will go through the same lessons, but do them in a different order.

This class is meant to give you the motivation to "just scrap" and get your memories preserved. The techniques in Course 2 can be utilized on any layout you are already needing to scrap on your "next to do" list.

EARNING ICON

Please complete set 1 before beginning set 2, and so on. You may jump around within each set as you do the challenges, but do not move onto the next set until you complete a set.

The challenges are in sets of 20. Once you complete each set, you will be awarded a special icon by your name. More importantly, your true reward will be your completed layouts.

You do 5 layouts per month to remain in the class to earn an icon.  (Of course, you can always do them outside of the class).  At the beginning of each month, we will check to see everyone’s progress.

If you have been too busy to scrap or have had life circumstances that kept you from scrapping, you can always sign up again to pick up where you left off.  We will have saved your credits.  Please know that we will not look down on you for beginning again.  In fact, we welcome it!  Never give up!

CREDIT THREAD

Please introduce yourself in the credit thread.

This is where you can check your progress through the class.  After you post in the thread, we will see it and then edit the first post in this thread to reflect that you have done the lesson next to your name.

This is also where we request that you ask questions about how the class works, help in finding things, or to notify us if there is an error in your credits (rather than by private e-mail, although we will answer you if you do send us an e-mail).  In this way, all staff may know what is going on to help you more efficiently.

The credit thread can always be found from the main page of the forum.  Just scroll down to the section on credits.

You can ask specific questions about tutorials in the thread where the video is hosted.

TO BEGIN

The links on the guide take you back to the forum where the video lesson or challenge is located and where you will post your lesson when you finish. Click on the "Set 1" link above to find the link to the first lesson.

After you complete your layout, upload it to the gallery, and then use the links underneath the layout to post it in the challenge thread.

I would suggest watching the help videos to familiarize yourself with Hummie's World.  Especially watch the "Introduction to Classes" video.

The gallery help videos are also important to help you learn how to upload and how to post from the gallery to the forum.
You can find help threads here.

It is helpful for us to get to know you better by name if you add something that we can call you into your signature line.  This can be found in “settings.”  You may also change both the "avatar" and the "profile" image from the settings.

Have fun and I look forward to watching you be inspired!

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that there was a button in the upper left hand corner of each post that will take you to a person’s gallery?  When you see others in your class posting, be sure to click and go to their gallery and leave them some layout love!  In addition, provided the links under the layouts in the gallery are utilized, you can also click right on a layout image in the forum and be taken to that layout in the gallery to comment.
