FAITHBOOKING GUIDE

Introduction

Set 1
Set 2

Faithbooking Challenge

What is faithbooking?

Faithbooking is simply keeping a "book" of your "faith." Faithbooking is intigrating our faith beliefs and faith experiences into scrapbook pages. Faithbooking is leaving a legacy of faith heritage to our children, and our children's children. Faithbooking emphasises our spiritual journal.

Of course, we can leave our faith on every single layout we make by our words in our journaling on those pages. Therefore, these challenges give us inspiration to exercise our faithbooking so it can spill over into all of our pages.

Faithbooking can be as simple as an applicable Bible verse on the layout, a reference in the title, or as direct as scrapping a page about where we go to church. Most of us do not dare think to take photos during a worship service, but would once for a snippet into the future be okay?

How has your faith growing? What experiences have brought you to a stronger faith? Have you thought to journal down those moments?

Deuteronomy 4:9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

As I age, my memory becomes more feable. What a better way than faithbooking to "not forget those things my eyes have seen" and to "teach them to my children."

EARNING ICON

Please complete set 1 before beginning set 2, and so on. You may jump around within each set as you do the challenges, but do not move onto the next set until you complete a set.

The challenges are in sets of 20. Once you complete each set, you will be awarded a special icon by your name. More importantly, your true reward will be your completed layouts.

CREDIT THREAD

Please introduce yourself in the credit thread.

This is where you can check your progress through the class.  After you post in the thread, we will see it and then edit the first post in this thread to reflect that you have done the lesson next to your name.

This is also where we request that you ask questions about how the class works, help in finding things, or to notify us if there is an error in your credits (rather than by private e-mail, although we will answer you if you do send us an e-mail).  In this way, all staff may know what is going on to help you more efficiently.

The credit thread can always be found from the main page of the forum.  Just scroll down to the section on credits.

You can ask specific questions about tutorials in the thread where the video is hosted.

TO BEGIN

The links on the guide take you back to the forum where the video lesson or challenge is located and where you will post your lesson when you finish. Click on the "Set 1" link above to find the link to the first lesson.

After you complete your layout, upload it to the gallery, and then use the links underneath the layout to post it in the challenge thread.

I would suggest watching the help videos to familiarize yourself with Hummie's World.  Especially watch the "Introduction to Classes" video.

The gallery help videos are also important to help you learn how to upload and how to post from the gallery to the forum.
You can find help threads here.

It is helpful for us to get to know you better by name if you add something that we can call you into your signature line.  This can be found in “settings.”  You may also change both the "avatar" and the "profile" image from the settings.

Have fun and I look forward to watching you be inspired!
