I'm taking Belle to the vet today just to get a letter of good health for the plane ride home in case they ask for one and in hopes that this vet knows what to give her for the plane ride! It was traumatic taking her here to CA, especially waiting in the airport. Once on the plane she was fine. We have to change planes going back and have over an hour layover, so if he has some miracle that will make her sleep I want to get it! Valium did not work coming here but I may take it going back! ...

Hubby went for his post surgery appointment and is healing nicely. He has decided to stay here with me to heal some more and we will return to MA together with Belle exactly 2 weeks from today. I had to cancel tickets again but Southwest and Jet Blue are very good to deal with about this. I'm going to hate leaving this beautiful area but I do miss our grandkids a lot so I guess it's time to head home. I'll be able to see Phoebe and Nate right away and we are going to PA mid April to see Max and ...

Hubby came home yesterday from the hospital. There was a complication with the anesthesia that forced him into spending the night there unexpectedly. He was finally given a clean bill of health at 2:00 yesterday and is recovering nicely. His pain is much much less now and he can walk around and even use the bathroom on his own ! I am hoping he continues to heal and will be able to return to MA next Wed. so I can have a much needed vacation .

It turns out that Hubby's break was worse than we thought! The bones are overlapping and would take way too long to heal. The orthopedist strongly suggested surgery which we are doing tomorrow. It is out patient and only an hour long and then recovery room. Hubby should be pain free after that. Let's hope and pray!

On Monday, Hubby fell down a steep hill at the golf practice range and landed on concrete on his shoulder, broke his collar bone, is in big pain whenever he moves and is still here with me in CA. I didn't want him to leave me but I didn't want him to be in this condition!! We spent hours and hours in the emergency room Monday night!
