I've been AWOL for a whole week from blogging!! The weather has been just too nice here and I just have to soak up the sun!! I went to the pool the past 2 days for a couple of hours and met some nice ladies there. Can you imagine swimming in an outdoor pool in January???? It hit 86 degrees here yesterday! I'm really loving it! Today I need to get the house ready for my cousin's visit. She's coming down from Los Angeles to spend the weekend with me. We will have lots of girl fun together! ...

YEAH for Belle as she's feeling better with her meds from the vet and her special diet food! And YEAH for fast Internet with my new Fios hookup! I'm a happy girl now!

Belle is still sick! I thought she was over the diarrhea and made the mistake of giving her dog food again. I forgot that the last time she had diarrhea, the vet had her on a special diet for 5 days! So now she's had a relapse and to make matters worse, she vomitted all she ate yesterday. Nothing was digested (which made it very easy to clean up!). I won't give her anything today, just water. Then it's back to the rice and cottage cheese for at least 5 days. I may have to find a vet out here ...

Poor Belle was sick last night with the runs! Yuck!!! I don't know if she ate something bad on our walks or if it was from the whole trip in general or maybe even the heat from yesterday. It wasn't too hot, but she did plop down on a lawn on the way back from our walk. She might have been sick then. She's on rice and cottage cheese and I stayed with her all day. I think she feels better now. I hope tonight is a better night!
