I'm finally finding some scrapping time between my walks and soaking up the sun! The Internet connection I have is so slow that I'm going to get Fios on a monthly basis here for tv and Internet only. Right now we have Direct TV and have had it for 2 years. We put it on vacation when we leave but we still end up paying for some of the year when no one is here. Yesterday I shopped for a new mattress and two reclining chairs. I think I made the salesman's day when I walked in and said I was ready to buy! I had already done some research online, so I knew they had what we wanted and that their prices were good. One stop shopping---almost as good as Amazon! I'm up early today as I went to sleep at 9:00 last night. I thought I'd write about him today and how he enjoyed looking at all the old pictures my Mom and Dad had hung up in the house. Hung is really not the correct word as most are just stuck in the wall with push pins! He walked around looking at the photos and I'd hear, "Oh, No! Look at this one! I remember this! Yep, I cried! But I had to drive away from the airport quickly as it was so congested and a cop was motioning for me to move, so I didn't really have time to cry too much. I didn't really know where to go either, so I told myself to concentrate and drive and cry later which I never did. Buddy made it back to NY safely which is all that matters. Belle looked for him when I came back--too funny! We both miss him.
My son Buddy leaves for New York today. He came out here just to help get Belle here but he has to work tomorrow. He DJ's in NY City. I'm going to really miss him even though it's been such a quick visit. We have had quite a few laughs over the whole experience---if we didn't laugh we would have cried!!!
