:photogHowdy photographers!
Your photography challenge for the first second half of May is to capture a "peaceful moment". Something you see, something you do, something you ate...just something that gave you a moment of peace. Looking forward to seeing your photos. Honestly. I so enjoy looking at what you've captured.
Here's my "peaceful moment". Flowers were from Mother's Day...
Recently, Flickr edited the interface and I am taking a while to get used to it.
It is a give, to me, that sites will constantly be changing interface and we just have to learn to accept change and get used to it.
What do you think of the interface changes?
Also, Flickr will no longer be...
This is a quick tip to follow my video for making curved photo templates in Photoshop Elements. This is an alternative ending to the tutorial that can be applied in many other ways.
Learn how to copy several layers at once and paste them to a new layer.
I found it to be a hassle when I had to click through too many folders after unzipping. I did not understand why there were so many extra folders!
I hope this helps some of you who may be having the same problem. I am not sure I described it well enough, but I hope you are able to understand and that it helps you.
Please comment and help me congratulate these scrappers who have recently completed a class set at Hummie's World.
Grandma 633 (Sylvia) completed the first set of Course 2! That is 20 layouts!
NancyP completed the first set of the Assorted Challenges. That is 20 layouts!
Join the subscriber area for access to videos and downloads for a monthly cost of $5.50. This includes everything but the Designer Area (see below).
All lessons are in Photoshop Elements. However, I am beginning to add some add-on videos for the full version of Photoshop. If you have the full version, you should be able to utilize the PSE lessons also.
Click here to sign up for classes: This page lists all classes. Whether you take a class or not, you will still have access to all videos to work at your own pace. We welcome all!
Designer Subscriptions
The Designer Lessons are available for a cost of $25 for a six month period of time. This is not an automatic reoccuring subscription and, therefore, at the end of the six month period, you may on your choosing subscribe again for access.
You may choose one, both, or either of the subscriber areas as each has separate access.
The Designer Mentoring is open for three months at a time, when announced, and is a separate subscription payment of $20. You must have access to the Designer Lessons to participate as there will be references made to the videos. It is suggested to begin the Designer Lessons ahead of the mentoring to grow your skills before participating in the mentoring.
You can see these videos in the sample area! (many videos in the sample are are hosted on Youtube, so be sure to test these videos before subscribing).
What videos are available for free? See the online guides.
In addition, there are hundreds of downloads available in the Subscriber Area! See the download indexes to see what is available.

CANCELLING A SUBSCRIPTION
Please note: If you have accidentally subscribed twice, you can log into Paypal to view the subscriptions and cancel one of them. However, double subscriptions are credited. Log into the forum UserCP area to see the end date of your subscription. You will note that both subscription payments of a double subscription have been credited.
The subscriptions are automated between Paypal and the forum software. I do not like to mess with the automation and, therefore, I ask that you handle your own unsubscriptions.
To unsubscribe, log into your Paypal account.
On the "My Account" tab, click on history.
Click on the drop down arrow next to "More filters."
Follow "Subscriptions and Agreements" with your mouse
to "Subscriptions" and click.
You will see your subscription on this page to be able to cancel.
If you do not see your subscription, try searching for the date you FIRST subscribed to the forum.
Below are the old instructions for cancelling your subscription. I have left them here just in case they help you. Paypal as since changed the format of their site, which they seem to do often to me!
