With the end of the summer holidays and the start of a new school year, there always seems to come a feeling of looking forward with a little excitement and hope, as well as a backward glance at what has been. Of course, there will be good and bad in life, and it's easyto think of the bad as being just that and nothing else. Yet when I look back on such things, it's always possible to find something good that has come from them. Even small things, little blessings, that make a difference to our lives. We can learn from all our life experiences, whether good, bad or indifferent. Maybe that in itself is a lesson!
Which brings me to the exciting announcement of our new Boomerang Store Designers' Collab.! Called Little Did I Know, it's a beautiful kit in shades of blue and white, and I am thrilled to be seeing lots of pages popping up in galleries using it already. It's perfect for all kinds of layouts, and we had a fun time making it for you! With the recent hurricane disasters, I think this is a fabulous idea so we can see if any members are affected by natural disasters or just to find other digital scrapbookers who live near us. You do not need to put an exact location, just a city.
Printing Resources - The best places to print on the internet is always changing it seems. Please come and share your printing experiences with others in this thread. I want to begin encouraging the use of the resource area of the forum more often and hope to do some more thread starters soon. The best way to learn from each other is for everyone to share. I want to learn from you!
I blogged about a great site for quotes that I discovered - Goodreads! It has quotes that I don't find at other places - well worth a visit!
Have a browse though the 'Archives' section of my Resource Round Up Blog Post. There's a really interesting post on how to make a post it note in Photoshop - including the bend as the note curls away from thing it's stuck to!
Also from the Archives in that post there is a link to a cool tutorial site by @chemc with a tut on layers that I love!

Of course our big news is the release of our new Collab. kit - Little Did I Know! The thinking behind the kit is things we know now that we may not have known then. In shades of blue and white, this is such a versatile kit, and I know we enjoyed designing it for you! Lots of layouts have been made already, and I posted many on my blog for you to see them all together! Here is the kit and just a couple of layouts to whet your appetite!
