Well, my count has gone down significantly as my grandkids have grown. I used to just snap away when they were babies and didn't move much or hide their faces! Now it's much harder to get them in the camera's eye! For the last 2 months my average was 59 photos. Unless I'm taking pictures for one of the books I'm making, I only snap the kids.

For Sep. and Oct. I have 1006 photos saved...I know I took more but deleted them. My average for those two months is 503... And that's pretty average for me monthly.

I usually take around 500-600 photos a month. The last couple of months I've been so busy it's been more like 200, which I find really sad. LOL

Well, dont know what you mean by "use the count in your folder" but I went to My Pictures and started manually counting and got to over 1,000 for the past two months. So I know that I take around 500 plus a month, maybe more. I am ALWAYS shooting!!!

I usually take about 500 a month, then have a problem choosing for my scrap pages. I am aways taking pictures.

You all put me to shame. I was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease about 5 years ago and as a consequence I have a bad tremor in my right arm which makes it difficult for me to hold the camera still. So on average I probably only manage to take about 50 decent shots per month myself relying on my friends and family to take them for me on the bad days.

For the month of September I took about 25 and for October I took about 225. The bulk of the October photos were taken today, Saturday the 27th of October for my great-granddaughter, Lily's first birthday. So I took about 176 photos. I will probably take a few more of her in her Halloween costume next Wednesday the 31st; she will be a zebra.

I take most of my pictures on my cell phone now, and most of the pictures I take are of the kids I babysit. In looking at my phone, I took 83 last month, and so far this month I've taken 94. Now, that's not to say that when I download them to my computer that I will keep all of them, but that's my average.
