Two questions:

1. In order to motivate yourself to get a page done that you just do not feel like doing, you decide to treat yourself to a reward when you get it done. What would that reward be?

2. Do you ever use digital scrapbooking as a reward for other tasks you do not feel like doing? What tasks?

1 & 2 I do scrap pages for the fun of it. They are my reward for living........Life can be very crazy and they give me a few minutes to focus on something other than the craziness. It's like reading a book or watching TV but much more productive. You end up with something lovely to show for the time.

#1- Yes, I reward myself by upping to my facebook for my family to see. None of them live in the same state as me so it's very rewarding to share it with them & of course I Love the feedback. Feedback is a Great motivator!
#2- No, not yet anyways lol. I'm still new to digi scrapping. I can surely see it happening in the future

My reward for finishing a layout is to post it on my blog and upload it to an online album. When I feel no creative spark, I look through my favorite scrapbooking sites for a challenge or for a layout to scraplift.

Unfortunately, generally halfway through a housekeeping task, I get an idea and head for the computer "for just a minute". Ha.

My reward, as Nan, is to post it online! I LOVE when people watch my layout and see something they like And as Willogem wrote, Feedback is a Great motivator If I need an inspiration, I look through forum, blogs, flickr, pinterest..

I reward myself after finishing a difficult layout be either designing something fun, like a cool new button or tag - and relax with a very decadent mug of hot chocolate. I prefer Mexican chocolate, with the spices of cinnamon, cardamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

I usually put off paperwork that I need to do, by scrapping a fun layout. For example, I delayed filing my income taxes for a few days, while I worked on a blog hop layout piece. Actually, working on designs is the most favorite thing that I like to do - besides playing with the grandkids, that is!

    1. If I'm working on a page that I really do not want to work on. I tell myself that I'm going to go shopping for a fun new element once it's finished. Yay!!!

    2. I don't use scrapbooking as a reward for something else, but that's only because I hadn't thought of it. Hmmm. Maybe I'll get that closet cleaned out after all.

Off to find out where Cabin Fever is with that amazing hot chocolate. Tee Hee.

    1. I'm afraid not to be very brave. When a page does not go as I want, I stop it and change my way. I choose another thema, or another hobby (music, cooking, walking...) So no job, no reward. If it is because of the difficulty to make, I'm stubborn and I finally succeed. So I can rejoice, and be proud, it is a good reward.
    2. Dish, cleaning house, food shopping (I hate this).

My reward to complete a layout is to have time to go through the gallery and appreciate and get inspired by other layouts and get to know my co-scrappers here. I also look forward to the feedback on my layouts, especially because I have worked hard to do the best work I am capable to do. Sometimes-re-doing. It all takes time, the work and the enjoyment : ) End result, I feel happy!!
