Do you take a picture with your pets or just your pet's picture?

I think I've done some of both. Sometimes we will set the camera up outside with a timer and get our dog in the photo with us.

Sometimes I just get her photo, but then again, that's hard too with the yellow camera dog eyes.

Have you ever paid a professional to include your pet in the photo?

If you are comfortable, share your photos and/or layouts.

Share any other thoughts about photography pets.

I've always just taken her picture when she was with the kids. The only time i've had issue with the eyes is when it was a darker setting and the flash went directly off and she was looking directly at the camera.

We have not had a pet for some years as we travel too much. I have scrapped the odd picture of my daughters cat, he is very cute. I had never ever thought of getting professional photos of pets. What an interesting concept.

I do both. I've never had our pets photographed professionally, no. Shoot, I don't even have my kids photographed professionally!! Giggle.

I have a ton of dog pics - Good idea to get scrapping them into Layouts. My baby girl passed 4 years ago and I Think of her daily. Thank you for the idea.

We just have a very un-social bird. I have tried to get pictures a few times but so far none have been very good.

oh boy do I love photographing my pets! I have a few in the gallery I'm not very good at it but I practice alot & take hundreds before I find the one I like the most lol.
