Not so new anymore!

Yes, I remove all old gallery photos (about 1.5 to 2 years ago) routinely, but they are still in the forum threads. I have to do that because it keeps the database small and manageable, especially because there are lots of layouts from people who do not even frequent here anymore, but this is the only way I have to manage them. Huge databases cause many problems and I read it on other sites.... such as even using up a lot of RAM each time someone does a search, to being able to back them up or restore them.
