According to posts at Photoshope Elements Users, it is worth the $12. I have not seen any negative reviews about it. Some of its features seem worth investigating.

Yes, I have heard of Elements+ ...never bought it though. If I remember, I wondered if it was necessary or just marketing ...anything that says "unlock hidden powers" makes me wary ...so I never looked at it again. That was years ago though.

I used the eydropper to get a color from the flower for my background color. I can see that filters can open up a new world of creativity.
