The Designer Darling Competition at Stuff to Scrap continued this week with Round 4 being all bout the creation of a mini kit from an inspirational photography and story of STS owner Deanna’s little baby boy. My inspiration for this weeks mini kit has come from the sweet smile on the baby’s face and the colours in the photo.


Every contestant will created a mini kit using the photo and story for our inspiration, of course there is a twist to the challenge too. Each designer is to only allowed very little use of other’s resources meaning no Commercial Use products other than the very basics we where given.


It has been fun creating my own elements and papers from scratch with no aid of CU products from others, I even learned a few new tricks too from various tutorials and helpful tips we where given.


Here is what I came up with…

Have your heard the news, I made the final for Stuff to Scrap Designer Darling WOOHOO :yahoo With your motivational comments of love, support and votes I have made it.


I would really love for you to help cook up this kit with me :-) Could you please vote for the colour / theme that appeals to you most. Post a comment at my blog after you voted and you will go into the random draw to win a $5 gift certificate to my store.


As I really need to get started with creating the kit rather quickly the voting poll is open for two days only.






Voting will help me to cook up the next entry kit for the final challenge at STS designer darling, this challenge is about pushing our creativity and using all that we have learned thus far in the competition. We have two weeks to designs a FULL kit with 10-12 papers, 25-35 elements and an Alpha in two weeks. It is up to us to choose the colors, the inspiration plus the theme.


I will post the winner on my blog Saturday morning to announce the winning colour / kit name PLUS one lucky commentor will be chosen at random to receive my thank you gift certificate valued at $5 to spend at my store.
