Recognizing quality kit
I found this thread at DST and designers are showing their first kits and their now kits.
I think this is a great way for newbies to learn to recognize what a quality kit looks like. There are so many bad ones out there and many newbies download every freebie they find, careful organize them, and spend a lot of time only to realize they just want to delete it later.~Hummie

lol....I have a blog post about Delete, Delete, Delete which I wrote that seemed to be a big hit. There were several forums chatting and laughing about it--some foreign ones too. I have it in my to-do folder to get it up in pdf as a misc tutorial...have to get that done! So many things to do!~Hummie

I think some of the 1st kits were kewl! different but still kewl. quality might be an "eye of the beholder thing" at least as it applies to what was in that thread--couldn't look at individual pieces, and maybe some of those had issues. However, even 4 years awayy from my first LO, 5 years awayy from getting my first freebie kit, i appreciated what was offered, knew what i liked and only took those things that i liked looking at. I also look back at the first kit i designed for a color challenge and i still like parts of that kit today. Again, i didn't know diddly about designing, but by accident--grace--somehow while no one else may think it quality, i still like it...
