I blogged about Take 12 2012 yesterday. Is anyone going to do this with me?

I blogged about it yesterday.

I think I am going to make it easy and just take my photos on my phone and upload them to Flickr to a certain folder and journal there, tweeting them as I do.

Then I will blog them using Flickr as the hosting.

Then at the end of the year, I think I can use Blurb and it will pull all the photos and journaling and I can order a book!

I just signed up today. Yay! Thank you for the idea, I had not heard of this. What I really need right now is inspiration and a goal. My job has me staring at a computer screen all day, mostly waiting, doing a repetitive task. Booorrriiiinnnnggg!! And my eyes hate it as much as I do. Sooo...I need the motivation. I'm ready to go. Love both your sets of photos for January.

Go ahead and do your January day today .... or tomorrow.... it's okay to be off on the day... just do a day of 12 photos... then host them someplace and share the link here so we can get to know you!

Yep! It's ok to do it a little late! I was a day late doing mine!! Just get back on the wagon, get it done, and shoot to get it done on the 12th next month! :-)

I try to take photos every day of the year. I don't miss too many. I try to post my own photos every day on my blog. At the end of 6 months, I have my blog with all text, commnts and photos printed as a hard cover book. I now have all of 2008 thru 2011. I will leave these to my children.

Oh, and do edit your signature line to include a link to your blog (or other links) so we can come and visit it sometime when we see you posting in the forum... we all need reminders and helps ....

No, I have been using Shared Book. You give them your blog address, and tell them what date to start with to what date, whether or not to include the comments, which text (if not all), same with photos, etc, etc. I buy one book, and then I also buy a PDF copy. Hope this helps. I have had good luck with this company.

I realized last night with the server move that the 12th whizzed right by me! I thought of this on the 9th... and now it's the 16th already! I'm doing mine a little late, as a surrogate date, but have started uploading photos via iPhone to Flickr this morning.

Anyone else remember or doing this with me?

For January I used photos from throughout the month because I'm not that organized. I never posted them but I will. Hadn't even thought of my blog, lol. I will try for tomorrow. Not too much yet this month so I'd better get going. It'll probably be a lot of photos of cloudy days.
