03/07 - 03/13 Photography Theme ~ Green

It's time for a new photography challenge. Our theme for the week of March 7-13 is...guess...green. I always think of March as a green month with St. Patrick's Day and the arrival of spring. Around here, I'm starting to see new growth on the deciduous trees and some of the bulbs have pushed their green growth up through the soil. I love this time of the year!! So, your challenge is to photograph green. It doesn't have to be plants, either, anything green will do!! Looking forward to seeing what you find to share with us. Post your photos in the photography gallery and then share them with us here!! **AND this challenge is open to everyone, so please come and join in. We'd love to see your photos.**

Okay, so I took some time after work to just do a photography shoot in the yard and I have a bunch of green photos I can share.

I ended up laying in the dead grass in the front yard and relaxing and this onion kept speaking to me. We've already mowed it once.

I would love to participate in this, I´v been gone so long from anything scrappy or challenges so when I got this post I thought why not, you love to take photos why not do go on and do it, go on....... go on.........go on so I´m in, I have to find something GREEN here in Iceland LOL LOL and photo it NOW because I´m going away for about 4-5 days and............. well then stand up off you stool and go find something green NOW
OK got the photo and fixed it a little in PSE6 so now to upload it ............ hang on I´ll be right back........... well here is my photo for this week

Not sure why, but whenever I do a save for web now, my colors become dull.

I did take this on my photo shoot the other evening... my green swing!

I just happened to find this as I was going through pictures for another class project. This grasshopper lived in my front yard all last summer. Everyday I would go outside and he would be there. Hope he comes back this year, he's kinda cute!
