Really nice FB covers, of course for $8 a piece, they should be.I made myself go to Facebook last night and work on changing to the timeline format. Still not ready to go public yet. For now I just have a sunset photo as acover and my photo...same one as here. Could be fun to try making a cover...took me a while to get around to making a header for the blog. As my Dad always says...gonna get to that one of these days!

LOL!
I was thinking that I should start making templates for sale, LOL...looks like it's a good job!!!
Hummie, one of my designers told me about the high pass filter when uploading so I tried it and it really does make a difference, and you don't lose colour intensity either...it's almost like magic, LOL!! And way less scary for me than buying and installing and using an action (I'd have to look up the class on here again for installing actions!!!)
I'm going to carry on looking for templates...or have a play and make another cover for my timeline, LOL...am imagining those blended templates you see in 12x12...now that would be cool

Yep, the high pass filter is a way to sharpen a photo -- I have a lesson on that in the photography class.~Hummie

thanks - love my little goatee! I did forget to advertise the kit on the cover and I'm going to have to change it in less than a week. Next time I should remember to note the kit.

Now that I have my facebook timeline cover done I find that my personal picture that appears at the top (can't remember what it is called) is now looking funny. Does anyone know what size this should be? I'd like to put it right but don't know how.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

do you mean your profile pic? on the bottom left side of your new cover? HTH!!! xx
I found this on FB.... Is there a size limit for the picture I use as my profile picture?Yes. Your profile picture must be at least 180 pixels wide. If you are unsure of whether or not your picture meets this requirement, you can right-click on the picture to see the photo properties, which should include the photo dimensions (ex: 100 x 91 would be too small).

Yes, Bernie. I did mean my profile pic.
I'll have a go at doing one at 180 pixels and see if that works.
Thanks.

Bernie
This was easier than I thought. I clicked on the edit photo and then chose one of my photos, it brings up a box the right size which you move around on the photo until you get the section of it you need and then I clicked on the bit which said that I was finished cropping and I got the photo replaced. Thank you for steering me in the right direction.
My timeline goes live on 16 May so no-one else will be able to see it before then, so this gives me a bit of time to make a new timeline cover and a new profile pic.
Lots of luv.

Just need to say that in searching for a cover I discovered free and pay ones with "important" stuff on the left where the profile photo goes! I'd hate to pay for one and have to rescrap it or worse toss it.
