All About Me Challenge

Happy iNSD everyone! I am so happy that you're joining us here at Hummie's World to join in all the fun!!

This is an All About Me Challenge. So often, our pages are about our ancestors, our children, our family, our pets...everyone and everything, but oh-so-seldom about ourselves.

Why is that? Yes, we're often the ones behind the camera; the ones recording memories for others. We're the picture-takers, the record-keepers, the memory-savers. But don't we deserve a page of our own once in a while? Granted, I'm seeing more AAM pages now than I did when I started scrapping a few years ago, but not as many as I'd like!

For this challenge, I'm going to take it a little easy on you (in case you're unaccustomed to scrapping about yourself! LOL) I want you to look at yourself and consider WHY you scrap. Is it for relaxation, a creative outlet, to archive your past, to scrap memories for your children, to leave a record for future generations? Tell us your reasons, whatever they are!

Those are the only guidelines for this challenge. You can choose to use photos or not, but you DO have to have journaling telling us your reasons. Here's a page I did for you for this challenge.

Love your journaling! I, too, sometimes feel that I'm the only one who appreciates my pages. But you're right...that's OK! It's my little creative therapy!!

I want to thank you all for sharing a bit of yourself. It is wonderful to identify with others and what a nice way to connect, even much of it is done for personal reasons it is a very strong way of connecting with others when we share. So thank you!

And now I need to do one of my own and share, too.

This is my first time doing something like this. I had so much fun playing around with the colors in this kit. (I can tell my messy house is only going to get messier; this is so addictive!) Thanks, Hummie, for the videos on how to post to the gallery. They helped a lot!

Yeah! So glad you participated and are getting more comfortable using digi-communities. Making digi-buddies is fun because they are encouraging. It's hard for us to get together like a paper cropping group locally, so we do this instead and have it 24/7!

Wow, thank you for the add-on. It's amazingly gorgeous. I especially love the papers and the elements are fantastic, too. Love that folded flower and cut paper grass, so cute!
