June 20 ~ Photography theme - Orange
Orange is my favorite color, so how about taking photos of some orange things and sharing them here.
This is one of my new lilies. I raised it up and gave it a bit of bevel and shadow just to try something different.

To bevel & shadow a flower photo, I first start with a duplicate layer, and select only the flower and make it a new layer. Then I bring that new layer up in Photoshop, where I can apply the bevel, shadow, and any other intereting effects that I like. Hope this helps.

This was taken Memorial Weekend -Lake Huron, Michigan. I love to watch the sunrise or sunset over the water! Think I need to straighten this one though, lol!

Hi Nancy, I will be heading that way again next week. Actually, we stay in Barton City ("the biggest fourth in the north" is their slogan) which is about 40 miles south of Alpena. My husband's yearly family reunion. This picture was taken last week at our place in the thumb area near Port Austin. I truly love any area of Lake Huron.
