Saying my Hello's Again....
I'm not new to this site but there are so many new people here I thought I should introduce myself again. I am just starting to get back to digiscraping again after a 2 year sabbatical from digiland and scrapping all together. For those that do know me, there have been a few changes in my scrap world. Hubby got me a MacBook Pro....mostly to work on photography and also because we were tired of buying new computers every 2 years. I was also able to get Creative Suite CS5, a HUGE feat for sure but I am truely blessed!! With that I have been volunteering at my church working on the website keeping it updated. It's also been huge in working with all the photo's I've been taking.
So, an update on my family. Hubby has transfered departments, he is now Sgt. over CID and Narcotics and works straight days with weekends and holidays off.....Woo Hoo!! We have waited 11 years for this type of position. He is so much happier too. My kids are SUPER active now, DD is in Girl Scouts and takes Karate and already wants to "upgrade" on her Karate to do more. DS was in T-ball last season and is set to start Machine Pitch Ball in about a month. They both are doing summer camp through our church and keep me way too busy!! I have said more than once that I am ready for school to start so I can slow down....WOW.
I am looking forward to getting to know all the new names around here and reconnecting with the old "friends". Sorry for the book.

Wow! What a nice surprise, Leigh! Of course I remember you and I see from your stats in your post that you joined November 2007, which was when I installed the forum, but had not officially opened the subscriber area, but was still setting it up. You must have joined immediately! You are like a pioneer around here and I'm so excited you are back. I hope you are able to get a lot of layouts done with your new jump start and I'm glad for your hubby's new job.~Hummie

Hummie, you are right....I did join right when you opened the forum!! About 2 years ago I ended up leaving the entire digiscrap world and stopped scrapping all together after a really bad experience which I won't get into.....water under the bridge now. So many things have happened in the past 2 years and I probably haven't taken as many photo's of my own family as I would have wanted. But my camera has been put to great use also as I have been working with my church taking lots of photos. I hope to be able to get back into scrapping pages, it will probably be a slow return for me.

Oh, digi drama? There have been so many bad experiences for me with digi-drama too, but I try to stay here where it is safer and I can hang out with people who enjoy hanging out with me.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience whatever it was. I'm so far behind in my own scrapping. I have the photos, but not the journaling, and some days I wish I would just sit down and journal into the properties of the photos at least.

A little bit of everything, I did "a" layout a while back.....but recently I have been into design. Have been working on a few things.....and self teaching a bit. I have always loved template design so I started with that and put up Freebie on my new blog a few days ago. Since I have been working on web design for a bit the transition seems to be a bit easier although there are a few things I am still working to learn. Looking at joining the Designer class if it will open up again and I can afford it

I'm working now to get the designer area opened back up.
I am actually making some "tools" and putting them in the store.
I want to be able to offer a coupon amount for products to all who register for the class to make the class feel more valuable. Then the students can shop for tools with the coupon and choose what they want for their stash.
Then I'm going to work on expanding it with an additional section .... the "mentoring" section.
There will be two separate costs. I think the mentoring cost will be with the coupon.
There will be a yearly fee to access just the videos.
Then for more hand on opinions and working with me with feedback and more information, the mentoring cost.
I will also offer a refund of the mentoring to anyone who becomes a designer here for a certain period of time.
Just thoughts in my head... haven't figure out price points and specifics yet.~Hummie
