07/18 - 07/24 ~ Photography Theme ~ Haze

Your photography challenge for this week is to photograph haze. Definition of haze ~ Atmospheric moisture, dust, smoke, and vapor that diminishes visibility.

Here's mine. Living on a hill, I get to see weather patterns roll in and out lots of times. Caught this just the other day.

Oh coooool! We have to get up early in the morning for that, huh?

I might have some from my smoky mountain trip years ago.
Or maybe Dawn and I can catch some on the river this weekend.

Lets see if I can find a good one of me driving through the Smoky Mountains two weeks ago. brb

I took a lot but here's a really good one showing the morning haze. It was about 8 a..m. and I was starting down the mountain.

Took this going through the mountains in North Carolina back in May on my road trip from Florida to Michigan. It was very early morning, about 7:00 A.M, but was more beautiful than I could capture with the camera, as I took this picture while we were driving.

I just happened to take a whole lot of these this week without knowing the photo challenge, I started at 5 AM before the sun and then through various stages of sunrise.

we photographed LOTS of haze during our two weeks in Alaska. This was taken from a float plane near Ketchikan, Alaska....the rain capital of the state.
