Yes, most certainly! I have bugged her a bit in the email "reports" that I sent because I am worried that we are going to loose her because she does not understand. I'd love to hear from her ... in any thread she wants to post in, just so I know where she is struggling in understanding so I can help her get started.

I could not remember her name so I'm glad you started this thread.... so it's Karla!

I hope her parents are okay.

just wanted to say hi and HHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

EVERY time I try to start doing something my laptop goes into its stupid mode of updating and shuts me down.. ugh!!!! on the other side of that, I am sorry I havent started my lessons Hummie, I have been swamped with doctors appointments. I have physical therapy 3 days a week for myself, not to mention the other doctors I am seeing "sighs" one of these days I may get myself back to normal I hope. I also have to transport my parents to both of their appointments. some days I have 3 in one day. Lately its been more since they found a crap ton of stuff on my dad, so going to specialists and all that stuff. so between them me and the things I do at church its been rough, and when I do get on I get shut down

. So the plan is hopefully get with my besty Tricia this weekend and see if we cant figure this laptop out. grr. I will get them started though. Going to try tonight to figure out what I am doing.

Oh how frustrating to have so very little time and then when you do, not being able to work.

Are the updates actually installing or is one of them sticking? Do you know how to go straight to your updates and see that for yourself? If you don't, I can try to help. That is, if you use Windows. What version of windows do you have?

Did you know you can set your computer so that it does not automatically download and you it has to ask you if you are ready to do so?

Hummie, Karla has recently found out her father has Dementia. He has lost his driving priviledges. Also for awhile now, her mother has become very sick & is full of infection. She has been taking them to many doctor appointments.
Karla has also gone through 2 back surgeries(this year) & a second hernia surgery that has gone wrong again.
Sooooo many appointments & very overwhelming.
She hasn't been able to get together w/me so that I can walk her through the forum. She is very interested in taking the classes but just can't participate as much as she would like at this time. She will have to do them at her own pace. I've told her you don't mind lurkers ;)

Oh, how horrible what she is going through! She is taking care of herself and her parents -- then who is helping to take care of her? I hope someone! I'm sure she is blessed to have a good friend as you.

Of course, she can lurk! When life settles down, maybe when she has time to explore and be more comfortable, she can always join a class again.

Keep us apprised please.... we do care..
