October Follow the Formula
Welcome to the October 2012 Follow the Formula challenge!
Each month I'm going to give you a "formula" that you need to follow to create your layout.
Here's this month's formula ~
1. Use three different papers.
2. Use one photo.
3. Use at least one rick-rack element.
4. Use stitching.
5. Use at least one arrow.
6. Use at least one piece of "tape".
7. Journal a little something.
You can add anything else you'd like, but the above items need to be included in your layout.
Here's my layout.

I created this template/quick page for your participation prize.

Once I see your layout here, I'll send you a pm with a download link to your participation prize.
Can't wait to see your layouts!!!Last edited by tammyshere; 10-10-2012 at 06:22 PM.

Finished mine, I have to be honest and say I dont normally use ric rack or tape, so it had me stumped for a little bit..
The masking tape is hiding just under the flowers
its there.
For 3 papers, I overlaid the journal frame and then inserted the photo inside, the arrows and of course the background paper.. Thank you looking forward to the next challenge..

Mozz, that is stunning!!! I'm like you when it comes to more than one paper. I like to blend them.

Thanks Nancy, I have been wanting to scrap that photo for several years, little munchkin in 3 in that one, but the playground equipment was like really bright yellow, red and blue.. So this turned out to be perfect for it,
And because I wanted the focus on her, yeah I tried all sorts of different things, but this was the best way for me for what I wanted
Wheres yours? lol

What a clever way to use ricrac....clip paper to it. I might use ricrac more with that idea in mind. Good Job.
