Recipe Challenge Are you looking for something to give as a gift? Then hurry to do these lessons and create a book or set of cards! EARN ICON Receive an icon by your name for every 20 you complete. There are 40 challenges. To complete the challenges to earn credit, you must create one recipe per category. However, you are welcome to make and share as many recipe layouts as you want, just put them in the applicable thread after uploading to the gallery. LINKS TO THE CHALLENGES 1. Choose a format. Post in the chatter thread what type of format you will be making your layouts in and how you will be binding or displaying them.
CREDIT THREAD Please introduce yourself in the credit thread. This is where you can check your progress through the class. After you post in the thread, we will see it and then edit the first post in this thread to reflect that you have done the lesson next to your name. This is also where we request that you ask questions about how the class works, help in finding things, or to notify us if there is an error in your credits (rather than by private e-mail, although we will answer you if you do send us an e-mail). In this way, all staff may know what is going on to help you more efficiently. The credit thread can always be found from the main page of the forum. Just scroll down to the section on credits. You can ask specific questions about tutorials in the thread where the video is hosted. TO BEGIN The links on the above guide take you back to the forum where the video lesson or challenge is located and where you will post your lesson when you finish. After you complete your layout, upload it to the gallery, and then use the links underneath the layout to post it in the challenge thread. I would suggest watching the help videos to familiarize yourself with Hummie's World. Especially watch the "Introduction to Classes" video. The gallery help videos are also important to help you learn how to upload and how to post from the gallery to the forum. It is helpful for us to get to know you better by name if you add something that we can call you into your signature line. This can be found in “settings.” You may also change both the "avatar" and the "profile" image from the settings. Have fun and I look forward to reading those recipes! |
