Due to those bad guys that get into forums maliciously, the forum is set up so that first posts are moderated. After your first post is approved, you will have a new "hummdinger" button by your name and be able to post unmoderated. I realize it may be a hassle for those who post while I am away, but I do appreciate your understanding.

After your first post, other areas of the forum will be opened up to you. (This would include the main challenge area, resources, and chatter, but not the Subscriber Area. The Subscriber Area is $5.50 per month.) This forum encourages active participation.

E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS

Subscribe to E-mail for site announcements. It is actually the posts from my blog.

Subscribers will receive special announcements through the forum when things are added to the Subscriber Area.

Occassionally, mass e-mails to everyone in the forum are sent out (ie. chat), so be sure to check your CP settings to choose whether or not you want these e-mails through the forum.

GALLERY RULES

1. The gallery is considered an open gallery as you may use any products.

2. CT (creative team) layouts are welcome as long as they are part of forum challenges. Otherwise, please host CT layouts elsewhere and share them in this forum thread. Do not upload CT only layouts to the gallery if they are not a part of the forum challenges, but host them elsewhere and share them in your own thread.

We want to see them! However, we do not want the open gallery policy to be abused, especially for those who are participating in the community and have a personal goal with regard to gallery commenting. Often CT only layouts are posted and the person never participates in the community. This rule is not meant to set you apart, but to keep the sense of community at the site.

3. I encourage you to add links in the description to where we can purchase the kits. Hey, if I see something I like, even I want to be able to find it easily.

3. Please be sure to use the correct category. There are many categories for themes, as well as challenges. This will allow visitors to find inspiration by theme.

4. I reserve the right to delete any layouts of inactive members simply posting layouts for the purpose of advertising.

5. Please be sure to give credit on all layouts! If you made it, be sure to say so! If you just don't know, please say so!

FORUM RULES

FOCUS
The focus of this site is on learning and inspiring each other, as well as to make new friends in the digital world. I just want you to get some layouts done! Links to other sites are allowed as I want to continue to support other sites. There are so many great resources out there; let's help each other find them.

NO ADVERTISING
NO blatant advertising. I will give you a cold prickly if you use it for advertising. Really!

Enabling is okay -- which is different than advertising. Enabling is when you find a great find to share with others (without the intent of advertising yourself).

There are opportunities in the Kit Enabling thread to share layout previews by theme or sales.

SIGNATURE LINES
With regard to signature lines, feel free to write any text or links so that we may know more about you, but do not use blinkies. My tired old eyes cannot handle all that flashing.

Yes, you may link to your blog or store or whereever in your signature line. You may advertise a link to your newest kit, sale, or similar type of advertising, but it must be text only.
